		<description>Embargoes were created as a favor to journalists so they would have time to do background research before a big story broke. Of course, it also allowed the newsmaker an opportunity to shape the message. But embargoes are good only if everyone abides by the rules. Back in the day, journalists knew they would be shut out of future news tips is they violated the rules. In today&#039;s largely unregulated world of journalism,  that&#039;s no longer possible. All it takes is one person willing to break the embargo and it&#039;s off to the races.</description>
